The Sodality of Our Lady at St. Joseph the Worker is a ministry which currently meets monthly, March through December, in the Upper Hall of the old church. Meetings consist of saying the Rosary, an activity or guest speaker, and a general meeting, always accompanied by refreshments. We have an active board, including a prefect, vice-prefect, treasurer, secretary, and other committee chairs. Our annual Spirit of Christmas Crafts & Antiques Fair, held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, is our primary fundraiser. Members also organize a parish Baby Shower, where all donations are collected throughout the month of January and are then given to a local cause, and we are responsible for the public Fatima Rosary Rally, held the Saturday closest to October 13th each year on the Hanson Town Hall lawn. In addition to gathering additional items to support organizations such as Father Bill’s/MainSpring House, twice yearly we provide a full dinner – including salad, sides, and dessert – as well as serve at MainSpring on the first Monday of both October and May. We always welcome new members and sincerely hope that you will feel called to join us in this celebration of Our Blessed Mother and in doing good works.
